37. Chinese television series (中国电视剧)
Modern themed television series are generally crap due to Censorship (审查), but this leads to a big focus on ancient stuff, and some of it is amazing.
A good place to start are the canonical TV adaptations of the Four Great Classic Novels (四大名著)
